A taxi to the airport
Can you get us a taxi to the airport at 7am tomorrow? There are four of us with big suitcases.
Of course. I've asked the local taxi firm for a larger car at 6:45am so you're not rushing. It's about 25 minutes to the airport at that hour.
As soon as they confirm, I'll send the driver's name and number here, and a reminder at 6:30 tomorrow.

A late check-out request
Our flight's at 9pm. Could we check out late?
Late check-out until 2pm is available as an extra. I can ask the host for you. Shall I?
Yes please.
I've passed your request to the host and will tell you as soon as they confirm.
Request sent to host. Nothing promised.
A problem at 2am
There's water coming from under the kitchen sink.
I'm sorry. First, if you can, turn the valve under the sink clockwise to stop the flow. Is the water still coming?
It slowed down but has not stopped.
I've alerted the host now and will stay here with you. Please keep away from any sockets near the water.

A question in another language
Onde fica a farmácia mais próxima?
A farmácia mais próxima fica a cerca de cinco minutos a pé. Posso enviar-lhe a localização?
Notice what it does not do: it never promises a late check-out or anything else that costs money. It offers, then passes the request to the host.
